Stella Papi - Performer
Stella Papi is an Italian dance artist based in London. She holds a BA in Dance Theatre from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and has performed for artists such as: Janine Harrington, Dog Kennel Hill Project, Rosana Antolì, Katarzyna Witek, Tino Sehgal, Jeremy Nelson, Susan Sentler.
Stella develops her own artistic practice with her friend and collaborator Elisa Vassena. Their choreographic duo is called SALSAROSA and they have performed their works between Italy, Norway and the UK. Alongside her creative projects, Stella leads movement classes for children under five and their families.
Elisa Vassena - Performer
Elisa is a performer and movement artist, with a self-taught visual art practice. Since graduating from LABAN in 2012, she has been working freelance with various artists, performing in a wide range of contexts, from gallery and theatre settings to outdoors and site responsive works. She collaborates with friend and artist Stella Papi in the duo SALSAROSA, often making interactive and durational experiences, as well as following her own creative desires somewhere hybrid bridging drawing, printmaking, writing, sound and movement.
